Parent Membership Agreement

For Parents & Carers members of the FED community.

By joining the FED parent community, you agree to a few simple terms designed to keep the platform safe, supportive and useful for everyone.

Using the resources

Your membership gives you access to FED resources, guidance and community support for your own personal and family use.

The resources remain the intellectual property of The FED Foundation. Please do not copy, sell, publish or distribute membership resources outside the platform unless a resource is specifically designed to be shared.

Community participation

The community is a place for parents and carers to learn, share experiences and support one another.

Please:

  • be respectful and considerate of others
  • protect your child's privacy and the privacy of other families
  • do not share another member's posts or personal information outside the community without their permission
  • remember that experiences shared by other members are personal experiences and should not be treated as individual professional advice.

FED may remove content or restrict access where necessary to protect members or maintain a safe and respectful community.

FED resources and support

FED provides developmental, educational and clinical support and guidance. Information and community discussions on the platform are not a substitute for individual assessment, diagnosis or advice from a healthcare professional who knows your child.

Your membership

Access to members-only resources and the community continues while your membership is active.

By selecting “I agree”, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

Working With Partner Organisations

The Foundation regularly works alongside other charities and community organisations to ensure families can access relevant support and opportunities to get involved.

Examples include:

Positive About Down Syndrome (PADS)

The Foundation worked with PADS to develop a parent webinar exploring feeding development and eating challenges experienced by some children with Down syndrome.

Autism West Midlands

Through workshops and learning events, families have been able to explore topics relating to feeding differences, participation and neurodevelopment.

Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum

Partnership work with Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum has provided opportunities to hear family perspectives, support local engagement activities and strengthen conversations around feeding development, SEND and inclusion.
