Certified Eating as Learning Framework Practitioner Training

An inclusive, neuroaffirming framework for understanding and supporting children and young people with feeding and eating challanges.

The Eating as Learning (EaL) Framework is designed specifically for healthcare professionals working with children and young people who experience feeding and eating difficulties.

Informed by parents and developed by The FED Foundation’s transdisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers, the Eating as Learning Framework equips professionals with the knowledge, tools and confidence to support children and young people through a responsive, evidence-informed and participation-focused approach.

Suitable for practitioners working across NHS, community, education and independent settings, including:

  • Speech and Language Therapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Dietitians
  • Psychologists
  • Learning Disability Practitioners

  • Neuro-affirming and participation-focused practice

  • Collaborative multidisciplinary working
  • Translation of research into everyday practice
